Appointments and Departures effective Wednesday June 26, 2013:

- Reverend Terrence Boland – appointed Administrator of Immaculate Conception Parish, Deer Lake.

- Reverend Edmund Camacho – appointed Administrator of Assumption Parish in Stephenville Crossing and St. Joseph’s Parish in St. George’s

.- Reverend Maurice O’Quinn – appointed Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Curling

.- Reverend Gerard Patry – appointed Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Lourdes and Administrator of Our Lady of the Cape Parish, Cape St. George

.- Monsignor James Robertson – appointed Pastor of St. Stephen’s Parish in Stephenville and Administrator of Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port

.- Reverend Chris Rushton, OMI – departing the Diocese for ministry in Ottawa.

Appointments effective Wednesday August 28, 2013:

- Monsignor Edwin Gale – appointed Pastor of Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena

.- Reverend Edward Terry – appointed Rector of the Cathedral Parish of the Most Holy Redeemer and Immaculate Conception in Corner Brook and Administrator of All Hallows Parish in Corner Brook

.- Please Note: The appointment of a Pastor/Administrator of St. Ann’s Parish in Codroy Valley will be announced at a later date.

Retirement effective Wednesday August 28, 2013:

- Reverend Gordon Grace – retiring from his appointment as Pastor of Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena.

I am grateful to each of these Priests for their generosity of spirit in accepting these new appointments. I am especially grateful to Father Grace and Father Rushton for their long and dedicated ministry and I pray that God will bless Father Grace with a long, healthy and joy-filled retirement, and bless Fr. Rushton with good health and much happiness in his new appointment in Ottawa. Please join with me in praying that God will bless all our Priests and their Parishioners especially during this time of transition and change.
